Movement Therapy

The goal of a therapeutic movement session is to have a pain-free body and full range of motion. This practice improves structural integrity by using mobility exercises, strength training, fascia-focused stretching and nervous system regulation techniques. Private sessions begin with a postural and energetic assessment of imbalances within the body. A series of practices are implemented to assist the body in correcting patterns of tension that contribute to discomfort and pain. Sessions include personalized asana sequencing and alignment, somatic methodologies, pranayama guidance, energy work and Thai yoga bodywork. New clients are encouraged to commit to 4 weekly sessions in order to give adequate time and space for deep healing and the full integration of a well rounded personal practice.
